To introduce the munchkins to English with Alphabets and Capital letters. As they get familiar with Alphabets, they start building their vocabulary by learning Rhyming words, sight words, Action words and opposite words. We will be their guide, helping them to enhance their Language at a very tender age.
Your little one will experience the magic of Mathematics for the first time. We begin with learning the numbers from one to ten. We then introduce quantities and comparison by teaching terms like more-less, big-small, and heavy-light. Up next, we teach your little one to read time, and name the days of the week, months and year.
We start your little ones’ foray into environmental sciences with an introduction to good habits and bad habits. We teach your munchkin how to describe themself and the members of your family. They will then learn about the natural world with topics like wild & domestic animals and fruits and vegetables.
We start off the 2nd standard English with confidence building exercises for writing and speaking. This is followed by lessons on comprehension, poetry reciting and story writing. Next begins more rigorous classes on grammar like nouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjugations, punctuation, pronouns, and homophones. All this with side-by-side discussions on age appropriate topics like family, interests, stories, ideas and more.
We open the mathematics class by making your child familiar with reading and writing numbers from 1 to 99. This is followed by how to use the concept of place value for the comparison of numbers. Next up, we include lessons on how to subtract two digit numbers without regrouping. In geometry, we teach about 2D & 3D shapes and how to draw horizontal, vertical and slanting lines. We also teach the basics of measuring weights, time, lengths and distance. To improve memory and brain power we have adding and subtracting digits mentally.
EVS begins by revisiting concepts that were learnt in Class 1. We build confidence in kids by letting them describe themselves, their likes and dislikes. For family sciences, lessons include the roles of family members, family tree, togetherness and celebrations. In the topic of food, we teach children the importance of nutrition, clean drinking water, bodybuilding and healthy vs junk food. We do a quick revision of plants and animals and teach them more. For natural sciences, your child names planets, seasons of the year, space, and concept of light.
Your child will take the next step in speaking English perfectly in 3rd grade. We begin with a revision of what was taught in standard two and follow up with rigorous classes on grammar like nouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjugations, punctuation, pronouns, and homophones. These lessons are accompanied by class discussions on age appropriate topics on family, interests, stories, ideas and more.
The 3rd standard is where your child will learn to count, add, subtract and multiply numbers. In geometry we will prepare your child to draw and describe 3D shapes, and observe their sides and corners. At the end of their third standard your child will be able to read and plan time, measure length and weight and do mental arithmetic at a gifted level.
Science begins by revisiting concepts from standard two and then moving on to living and non living things, names of the internal organs and their functions, and organs of the respiratory system. We then move onto the animal world with exotic species and where they come from, their food habits and care. They then learn the names of crops, natural resources, renewable energy and the properties of sound.
We will use our best resources to introduce your child to understanding change in family, their neighborhood, gender sensitivity and the environment. We then teach your child about the importance of community and the role of law and safety in society. Up next is beginning a virtual introduction to earth, the planets and stars, and the environment and natural habitats.
We’ll be there to take your child to the next step in speaking and reading English. We begin with a revision of what was taught in standard three and follow up with rigorous 4th standard lessons on grammar like nouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjugations, punctuation, pronouns, and homophones. These lessons are accompanied by class discussions on age appropriate topics on family, interests, stories, ideas and more.
In the 4th standard we will assist your child in the next step of becoming a mathematics wizard. We begin with revisions of concepts in addition, and subtraction. We follow up with multiplication and division tables of numbers upto ten. In geometry your child will learn how to identify the circumference, diameter and radius of a circle. By the end of the 4th standard, your child will be able to read and plan time, measure length, volume and weight and do mental arithmetic at an advanced level.
We start off the 4th standard science lessons with the basics of the human body. We introduce topics like the organs, digestive system, excretory system and teeth and gums. This is followed by lessons on nutrition and food for energy, and how food is digested. Next begins the topic of adaptation in plants and animals and how they change according to their environment. After this, we learn about the states of matter like solid, liquids, gasses and their properties. Following this are lessons about light and its properties, followed by lessons on measurement and the instruments used for its purpose. Your child will also learn the importance of friction and its uses in mechanics.
We begin by teaching your child about the calendar and timeline of the year. We continue with interactive lessons on the rotation of the earth and its continents. Your child will learn about the countries, their flags, the equator and tropics, as well as the types and elements on the map. We will grow your child’s respect and love for nature with lessons on what pollution is and how to reduce it.
Your child will unlock the skills to speak English more fluently at a 5th standard level. We start the semester with a revision of what was taught in standard four and follow up with rigorous lessons on grammar like nouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjugations, punctuation, pronouns, and homophones. These lessons are accompanied by lessons on letter writing, report writing, essay writing, diary entry and paragraph writing. We will teach your child synonyms, antonyms, degrees of comparison and similes.
We prepare your child to take on mathematics problems with skills that will come in handy in school. The 5th standard is where your child will learn addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of large numbers. We will then introduce them to integers, whole numbers, fractions, decimals and divisibility of prime numbers. We will teach them basic geometric ideas like line segments, rays and graphs. We will include understanding shapes like vertix, angles and quadrilaterals.
We begin by revisiting concepts from standard four. We then move on to the circulatory system of the human body. We will teach your child facts about nutrition and food deficiencies. We will tackle the subject of pollination and plant reproduction and dive deep into solids, liquids and gasses with fun learning materials. We will also help them with the properties of sound, energy, light and how simple machines work.
We will be your child’s complete guide to social studies in the 5th standard. We then move on to the history of mankind as well as the stone ages and iron ages. We will begin their exploration of geography by teaching them about the earth, temperature and how weather works.
